Summit's professional staff are recognized experts in many areas of special education. We are committed to sharing our expertise through consulting, workshops, and conferences. On a child-specific level, public schools, private agencies, and individual families often contract with us to help assess and develop a plan to address behavioral concerns or to develop better methods for instruction. On a systems level, we help agencies and districts with staff training and curriculum design.

We also organize and conduct regional conferences that bring nationally recognized speakers to the area. Click here to get a list of upcoming events. We focus on providing evidenced-based approaches that offers practical applications for parents and professionals. In addition, each summer we conduct a Summer Training Institute that helps public schools to effectively work with students with autism who are transitioning to district-based classrooms.
